Announcement after the 2nd sitting of the ad hoc Commission for the 2023/2024 term on amendments to the Regulations of the Students’ Union

We would like to inform you that during the 2nd sitting of the ad hoc Commission of the Students’ Parliament of the UW for the 2023/2024 term on amendments to the Regulations of the Students’ Union of the UW:

Commission decided on the methodology of its work and discussed directions for amendments to the Regulations of the Students’ Union of the UW.

During its two-and-a-half-hour deliberations, the Commission defined the technical and material principles of its work on the draft amendment to the Regulations of the Students’ Union. Among other things, it agreed on the method of setting sitting dates, the procedure for deciding on amendments to the draft and the scope of participation of people from outside the Commission in the preparation of the amendment – as regards the latter, it was planned to draw up and make available a form through which these people could submit proposed amendments. As a result of intensive discussion on the directions of the amendments, the Commission has identified more than a dozen thematic blocks, each of which covers a certain section of matters relating to the functioning of the Students’ Union and its bodies. The blocks thus identified are to serve as a starting point for further work on the project.
