Announcement after the 6th sitting of the Students’ Parliament of the UW for the 2023/2024 term

We would like to inform you that during the 6th sitting of the Students’ Parliament of the UW for the 2023/2024 term:

Parliament held by-elections to the ad hoc Commission of the Students’ Parliament of the UW on amendments to the Regulations of the Students’ Union of the UW.

Aleksandra Semba (WPsych) was elected the new member of the Commission.

Parliament heard the basic theses of the semi-annual report on the activities of the President and the Board of the Students’ Union of the UW and the basic theses of the semi-annual report of the Revision Commission of the Students’ Union of the UW.

The two documents mentioned were briefly presented by the Vice-Chairwoman of the Board and the Chairman of the Revision Commission, respectively. The discussions that followed these presentations enabled the sitting participants to obtain further information on the issues of interest to them. In this respect, the main focus was on the Revision Commission, which was praised on the one hand for the quality of the report submitted, and on the other hand asked about some of the details of the audit proceedings it had carried out.

In terms of current affairs, most attention was paid to this year’s upcoming Juwenalia of the UW, in particular to issues relating to tickets for the event.
