Announcement after the 2nd sitting of the Budget and Finances Commission for the 2023/2024 term

We would like to inform you that during the 2nd sitting of the Budget and Finances Commission of the Students’ Parliament of the UW for the 2023/2024 term:

The Commission expressed a positive opinion on the semi-annual report on the activities of the President and the Board of the Students’ Union of the UW in the part concerning the budget of the Students’ Union of the UW.

The Commission considered the issues contained in the report relating to the disposition of funds from the budget of the Students’ Union in the period from November 2023 to March 2024. After a discussion with the participation of the Vice-Chairwoman of the Board, it was decided to give a positive opinion on the report in this scope. However, the Commission recommended to the President and the Board that future reports should devote more attention to the disbursement of funds from Pillar III of the budget of the Students’ Union, in particular indicating the most significant undertakings to which these funds were allocated.
