Announcement after the 4th sitting of the Budget and Finance Committee for the 2023/2024 term

We would like to inform you that during the 4th sitting of the Budget and Finance Committee of the Students’ Parliament of the UW for the 2023/2024 term:

The Committee expressed a positive opinion on the annual report on the activities of the President and the Board of the Students’ Union of the UW in the part concerning the budget of the Students’ Union of the UW.

The Committee leaned on the content included in the report regarding the spending of the budget of the Students’ Union between January and October 2024. Following the discussion that ensued on the basis of these contents, it was decided to give a positive opinion on the part of the report covering budgetary matters. At the same time, the Committee reiterated its previous year’s recommendation that subsequent reports should include a breakdown of the most important data on the disposition of the budget of the Students’ Union in the current reporting period with the relevant data for earlier periods, and that references to the Monitor of the Students’ Union of the UW should be included in subsequent reports, which would make it easier to find out the details of the the said disposition.
