Announcement after the 5th extraordinary sitting of the Students’ Parliament of the UW for the 2023/2024 term

We would like to inform you that during the 5th extraordinary sitting of the Students’ Parliament of the UW for the 2023/2024 term:

Parliament held a by-election of the President of the Students’ Union of the University of Warsaw.

The sitting was called due to the resignation of Aleksander Hebda as President. As a result of the by-election held, Mateusz Mossakowski (WPiA) was elected the new President.

Parliament approved the composition of the Board of the Students’ Union of the University of Warsaw.

In accordance with the Regulations of the Students’ Union, the newly-elected President requested approval of the new composition of the Board. This was because the previous composition of this body had become vacant with the election of a new President. Parliament agreed to the request, resulting in the following composition of the Board:

  • Mateusz Mossakowski (WPiA) – chairman;
  • Heybat Naghiyev (WNE) – vice-chairman;
  • Maja Baranowska (WZ);
  • Patryk Bonder (WG);
  • Aleksandra Semba (WPsych).

The new President and the new Board will hold office until the end of the term for which the previous President was elected, i.e. 31 December 2024.
