Announcement after the 3rd sitting of the Students’ Parliament of the UW for the 2023/2024 term

We would like to inform you that during the 3rd sitting of the Students’ Parliament of the UW for the 2023/2024 term:

Parliament elected members of the Revision Commission of the Students’ Union of the University of Warsaw.

During the sitting, four of the five seats on the control body of the Students’ Union were filled. It held its first sitting on the same day, which saw the election of a chairman and vice-chairwoman. Those elected were:

  • Stanisław Zabandżała (KMISH, WH) – chairman;
  • Agata Bluszcz (WB) – vice-chairwoman;
  • Wiktoria Gomoła (WZ);
  • Klaudia Nowak (WCh, WZ).

Parliament elected members of the Budget and Finances Commission of the Students’ Parliament of the University of Warsaw.

It was agreed that the Commission would have five members for the 2023/2024 term. Once the number of members was determined, the election of the members proceeded. Two days later, the first sitting of the body took place, during which its chairman and vice-chairman were elected. The Commission consists of:

  • Michał Olszewski (WPiA) – chairman;
  • Michał Piwowarczyk (WDIB) – vice-chairman;
  • Patryk Bonder (WG);
  • Mykhailo Dashchenko (WNPiSM);
  • Magdalena Michałowska (WPsych).

Parliament elected members of the Legal-Regulatory Commission of the Students’ Parliament of the University of Warsaw.

The number of members of the Commission for the 2023/2024 term was set at five, after which they were elected. The following day, the first sitting of the Commission was held, during which the Commission’s leadership was elected. Those elected were:

  • Patryk Szlufik (MIMUW) – chairman;
  • Jakub Wojciechowski (WGiSR) – vice-chairman;
  • Klaudia Czajka (WZ);
  • Heybat Naghiyev (WNE);
  • Konrad Zaraś (WPiA).

Parliament elected candidates for student representatives on committees of the Senate of the University of Warsaw.

Candidates for six of the seven Senate committees were elected – a seat on the Senate Committee on Personnel Policy remained vacant. Those elected were:

  • Senate Committee on Financial Affairs – Miłosz Marian (WZ);
  • Senate Committee on Scientific Affairs – Katarzyna Borowiec (WFilo);
  • Senate Committee on Spatial Development – Filip Dańda (WGiSR) and Aleksander Pacek (WZ);
  • Senate Committee on Social Affairs – Mykhailo Dashchenko (WNPiSM) and Danuta Grabovska (MIMUW);
  • Senate Committee on Students, Doctoral Students and Quality of Education – Zuzanna Bastek (IAiE), Mikołaj Jaroszewski (KMISH, WNPiSM) and Laura Zagożdżon (WNeo);
  • Senate Legal and Statutory Committee – Piotr Czestkowski (WPiA) and Daniel Olszewski (WPiA).

Parliament elected members of the Electoral Commission of the Students’ Union of the University of Warsaw.

All nine seats on the electoral body of the Student’s Union were filled. On the same day, the first sitting of the Commission took place, which saw the election of its chairwoman, vice-chairwoman and secretary. The Commission consists of:

  • Oliwia Górecka (WDIB) – chairwoman;
  • Aleksandra Marczyńska (WS) – vice-chairwoman;
  • Lija Moskaleva (CE) – secretary;
  • Hubert Gromek (WH);
  • Aleksandra Krawczyk (CE, WPiA);
  • Krzysztof Malinowski (WPiA);
  • Jan Olszewski (WPIA);
  • Michał Puza (FUW);
  • Kacper Świerad (WPiA).

Parliament elected members of the Board of Appeals of the Students’ Union of the University of Warsaw.

Elections of Board members were held separately from among members of Parliament (two seats) and from among students who are not members of the Students’ Union bodies (one seat). Those elected were:

  • Zofia Adamowska (WSNSiR) – from among members of Parliament;
  • Mateusz Mossakowski (WPiA) – from among members of Parliament;
  • Mateusz Staniak (KMISMaP) – from among students who are not members of the Students’ Union bodies.

Parliament elected candidates for student members of disciplinary committees.

The following were elected as candidates to the Disciplinary Committee for Students and Doctoral Candidate Affairs:

  • Olgierd Antosiewicz (WNE);
  • Jan Chmielewski-Gill (WArch);
  • Michał Czerepaniak (FUW);
  • Kamil Gryckiewicz (WCh);
  • Zuzanna Jagielska (IAiE);
  • Małgorzata Książyk (WLS);
  • Dominika Kwiecień (CNS);
  • Magdalena Michałowska (WPsych);
  • Agata Pietraczyk (WPed);
  • Patryk Szlufik (MIMUW).

The following were elected as candidates to the Disciplinary Appeals Committee for Students and Doctoral Candidate Affairs:

  • Mykhailo Dashchenko (WNPiSM);
  • Mikołaj Jaroszewski (KMISH, WNPiSM);
  • Dawid Sikorski (WDIB);
  • Piotr Siwicki (WNE);
  • Laura Stepaniak (WPol).

The following were elected as candidates to the University Disciplinary Committee:

  • Krzysztof Radziwon (WPiA);
  • Aleksandra Skipietrow (WDIB).
